Financial “Cents” for College Students

Based on the NY Times best-selling book The Millionaire Next Door, the presenter’s own experiences and articles written by financial planners, this workshop will provide you with information about managing money, and may challenge the notions you have about those perceived as having wealth. Learn about everything from interest rates to credit reports to buying a car. Discover how simple strategies you employ NOW can help you reach your future goals.

Grades Guaranteed

To help students understand the reality of achieving good grades by effective study techniques. The goal of this workshop is to assist any student who may be experiencing academic difficulty to identify the problem and make the appropriate adjustment to academic success.

Academic Planning & Course Registration

This workshop will focus on the tools that will be used in the process of registering for courses for the upcoming semester. We will show how to use the Undergraduate Catalog and DARS as planning tools; the Class Schedule to find courses; and Web Registration. We will also look at SRC Calendars to find when this semester’s grades will be posted, and discuss why schedules should be adjusted based on grades.
