Nicole Schwab

Pre-Health Advisor

Email: nmschwab@buffalo.edu

Education: B.A. Psychology, SUNY Fredonia, 2001; M.A. College Student Personnel, Bowling Green State University, 2004.

Academic Path: I chose psychology as my undergraduate major because I have always been intrigued by human behavior. Since I also love music, I decided to take one music class each semester, just for fun.

I soon realized through my studies and my involvement on campus that I could apply my skills in psychology to the educational setting by advising college students, which led me to my present career in higher education.

Specialty Area: Prehealth advising for freshmen & sophomores.

Hobbies and interests: Music and musical theatre (in my next life, when I have the talent and the guts, I’m going to be on Broadway!), reading (especially nonfiction), traveling, photography.
