Education: B.A. in Psychology from University at Buffalo with a minor in Teacher Education, Ed.M. Higher Education Administration program.

Academic Path: I started my academic career at SUNY Fredonia where I participated in the 3-1-3 Program- students attend one year of high school and one year of college concurrently. After graduating from high school, I decided to pursue my studies at the University at Buffalo with the intention of being a Pre-Med major. When I arrived, however, I found out that this course of study was not for me and chose to study Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I had the good fortune to work for the Office of Undergraduate Education as a student assistant. It was through this position that I realized my passion: Higher Education. This position allowed me to see what is required to make the undergraduate years an experience rather than just a course of study and ultimately led to my decision to pursue my Ed.M. in Higher Education Administration.

Specialty area: Provide programming and advising for students undecided about a major/transitioning majors, social bookmarking and other online initiatives

Hobbies and interests: Reading anything I can get my hands on, eating at exotic and eclectic restaurants, traveling (especially to Disneyworld) and exploring the Buffalo-Niagara region.
