Education: B.A. in Psychology & Social Sciences Interdisciplinary, Health & Human Services Concentration, Early Childhood Track (from UB). I am currently enrolled in the School Counseling Graduate Program at UB.

Academic Path: I was originally enrolled in the Business Administration major because I had taken a lot of business courses throughout high school. About a month before my freshman year started, I decided to switch majors to Psychology, simply because I found human behavior fascinating and I wanted to study something that I would have a passion for. In my sophomore year I joined the Social Development Lab at UB where I was able to gain research experience by observing prosocial and aggressive patterns in preschool children. While this did satisfy my desire to work with children, I realized that I would prefer to interact with them rather than just observe them. I added on the second major of Health & Human Services with the Early Childhood Track because I initially thought I wanted to work with younger children, but by the time I graduated I knew I still wanted to work with children, just an older population of them. Therefore, I chose the School Counseling Program at UB, which allows me to work with the student population on an interpersonal level.
