Instant Message (IM) the Pre-Law Advisor
Intended Use and Security Information
This service provided on the front-page of this site is intended for quick questions directed to the Pre-Law Advisor. If the status indicates the advisor is online, feel free to type your question in the lower section of the IM box. The advisor will receive a “ping” of a user and a window with the question will open up. Do not send any personal information such as your Social Security number or person number, as the client is not hacker-proof. The information is sent along “open channels”.
If you have specific questions regarding personal information then please make an appointment with the advisor. He can be reached by calling (716) 645-6013 at 109 Norton Hall. You can also email Jon at bonebrak@buffalo.edu.
Hours of Activity
Basically, the service will be live whenever the advisor is online and sitting in front of a computer. The typical hours of use will be from 8:30 - 5:00 Monday- Friday, with breaks for lunch and appointments. The status of advisor within the IM box should accurately indicate availability. If the box indicates online status, then feel free to type a question!
