Parents

Each year 15-20% of new students enter UB undecided about their major and 60% of undergraduate students change their major at least one time before graduating.

SAS advisors help students narrow their choices, choose a major that is appropriate for them, and choose an alternative major should their first choice not work out.

UB has options!

The University at Buffalo has over 100 degree programs and more than 60 minors derived from about 80 different academic disciplines. Options exist for joint majors, double majors and double degree programs. Students can also create (with faculty approval) their own major through the Special Major program.
